CV Starr NYU FAS Economics Graduate Student Travel Grants
The Center provides NYU FAS Economics graduate students with travel grants on a reimbursement basis to support presentations of their research at professional conferences, meetings and workshops. Presentations must be listed on the event program and the student must be listed as the official presenter of the research in order to be eligible for a grant from the center. Funds may not be used for attending special educational programs. All requests must be approved by the student's advisor prior to submission to the Center. To apply, please complete a "Grant Application Request Form" and submit it to the center director's mail on the 6th floor of 19 W. 4th Street.
In order to collect on your grant once you have been approved for one, please note the following procedures:
1. Please submit your request and receipts as ONE package to: Anne Stubing, the Assistant Director of the CV Starr Center.
2. Original receipts are REQUIRED. Meal receipts must include a detailed receipt of what was consumed at the meal. Alcohol is not eligible for reimbursement.
3. Be sure to include your home address and NYU ID number on your reimbursement request.
4. If you are an international student, be sure to submit a copy of your valid passport id page, your visa, your I-20, your I-94 card and a completed "Alien Information Collection form" with your receipts.
5. A copy of the event program with your presentation highlighted.

Additional travel funding support is available from the GSAS Dean via the Dean's Student Travel Grant Program, which has extremely early deadlines. Apply to this program when you are submitting your paper for consideration as you will have most likely missed the application deadline by the time you find out your paper has been accepted for inclusion in the program.
